Deleting your account

Last updated 22 October 2026

How to ask for your GrowthPPL account and personal data to be deleted — from the GrowthPPL app, or by email — and what is deleted and what the law makes your employer keep.

Your account belongs to your employer's workspace

GrowthPPL accounts for staff are created by employers: your company's People Ops team invites you, and your account lives in your company's workspace. So your employer decides what can be deleted and when — GrowthPPL processes this data on their instruction.

A job seeker's own GrowthPPL account (made on GrowthPPL Jobs) is different: you can delete it yourself from your account page — see For job seekers.

How to ask

In the app: open Me (or More), choose Request account deletion, and confirm. Your request goes to your company's People Ops team as a confidential case, and you get a confirmation on your bell. They reply on that case — or, if you have already left, by email.

By email: write to hello@growthfather.com from the address you sign in with, and name your company. We pass the request to your employer and confirm to you that we did.

If you own a workspace, your account is the workspace: email hello@growthfather.com from your sign-in address and we will close the workspace and delete its data with you.

What is deleted

Your sign-in (email or phone login), the app's sessions on your phones and their notification tokens. If you have no employee profile — an agency partner's login, for example — your sign-in is closed, and there is no profile to erase.

Once you have left the company: your contact details, address, emergency contact, bank account, photo, ID documents and personal documents, family members who are not statutory nominees, 1:1 and feedback notes, review text, survey comments, where each attendance punch was made, and the words of messages sent to you.

What is kept, and why

Labour and tax law make an employer keep a leaver's employment records for years — in India, wage and attendance registers, PF/ESI returns, Form 16 and TDS records for up to eight years; in the UAE, WPS payroll records. These stay: your name, employee code, company, role and dates; PAN, UAN and scheme numbers (sealed); pay runs, payslips, salary history and tax certificates; attendance and leave registers (times and days only); the final settlement; statutory nominees, the employment contract and letters issued; and cases you raised (including this request), expenses and assets.

Kept records stay in the employer's workspace under the same access controls until your employer deletes them, or until the workspace is closed and its data deleted on request.

How long it takes

Your People Ops team answers on the case. A sign-in can be closed straight away; personal data is erased once your employment has ended and your final settlement is paid. A workspace closed on request has its data deleted within a reasonable period, except what the law requires to be retained.
