Job Vacancy: Retainer Legal Advisor (Advocate) Company: Water Store Kerala Location: Palarivattom, Ernakulam, Kerala Monthly Retainer: 15000-20,000 Engagement: Part-Time Professional Retainer Availability: 2 fixed office days per week (approx. 8 hours/week) Experience: Fresher to 2 years of practice; minimum 1 year of chamber practice for freshers Joining: Immediate Job Responsibilities Draft and review lease deeds, agreements, contracts, NDAs, and legal notices. Handle consumer complaints, legal disputes, cheque bounce cases, and recovery matters. Advise on labor laws, HR compliance, GST notices, licensing, trademarks, and regulatory matters. Assist with property documentation, due diligence, and new business ventures. Provide legal opinions and represent the company in courts and consumer forums in Ernakulam. Maintain case records and submit monthly legal reports. Provide legal support to Water Store, Quick Fix, Aqua Vigil, Aqua grand, and Maxell Trading across 15 branches in Kerala. Qualifications LLB from a recognized institution. Enrolled Advocate with the Bar Council of Kerala with a valid Certificate of Practice. Good knowledge of consumer law, cheque bounce cases, contract law, and labor laws. Excellent legal drafting skills in Malayalam and English. Own practice base in Ernakulam and ability to attend local courts. Basic knowledge of Google Workspace preferred. Retainer Terms Monthly fee of 15000-20000 depending on experience. Includes routine legal advisory, drafting, notices, and up to 4 court appearances per month in Ernakulam. Additional work will be charged separately at agreed rates. Initial term of 12 months, with a review after 3 months. Independent professional engagement, not employment.
